TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
Booking & Payment
To book, contact Martina at +353 (0)87 061 7300, email her at homealoneawaytogether@gmail.com, or visit our Facebook page.
Day Trips: We require full payment at the time of booking.
Extended Trips:
A non-refundable (but transferable) deposit of €100 per person secures your spot. Balance is due 10 days before departure.
Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers
If You Cancel
We will refund you in full if you cancel within 72 hours of your booking.
We will refund you (minus deposit) for cancellations if they’re made at least 48 hours before departure.
There is no refund for cancellations within 48 hours of departure, but you may transfer your spot to another traveller.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing and take effect upon receipt of notification.
If We Cancel or Make Changes
If Away Together cancels a trip (e.g. due to low numbers), you can choose:
A free transfer to a future trip.
A full refund, issued within 14 days.
Transferring Your Booking
You may transfer your booking to someone else if:
They meet all booking requirements.
You notify us at least 7 days before departure.
They accept all terms of the booking.
You and the transferee remain jointly responsible for all payments.
Group Bookings & Cancellations
Group bookings follow the terms of our suppliers (hotels, transport, restaurants, etc.).
If a group cancels, refunds depend on the suppliers’ policies, not on ours.
Who Can Travel?
We welcome solo travellers, retired couples, young professionals, widowed retirees, those new to the community, and anyone looking for connection through travel.
Our trips suit ages 30 and up, but we may accommodate younger travellers on request.
Fitness and mobility levels are specified for each trip, helping you choose the experience that is right for you. Some trips offer flexible activity options.
Special Requests
If you have dietary or accessibility requirements, or specific rooming preferences, let us know when booking.
Late Bookings
Early booking is advised - places are limited.
Last-minute bookings may have additional costs (hotel rates, etc.).
Please wait for written confirmation from Away Together before booking flights or making other arrangements.
For last-minute bookings, your contract is valid once full payment has been processed.
Payment Methods
We accept payment online via debit card, bank transfer, cash, or cheque.
Gift Vouchers
Available year-round - great for birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions.
No expiry date.
Cutting Your Trip Short
If you return home early, no refunds will be issued for unused services.
